Ghanaian Contemporary Opera artiste Nino, also known in real life as Agyemang Kofi Offeh has called on the American Embassy earlier this week for a briefing on his upcoming projects.

Daniel Fennel, Minister-Counselor at the American Embassy discussed Opera music with Nino and the artiste’s inspiration behind taking the challenge to sing the least popular genre in Africa.

Nino also outlined his plans to socially impact the society through his genre of music, NUSLAM, which is an amalgamation of two or three music genres into one piece to give a different and unique rhythm.

Nino together with his manager, Henry Treku, emphasized the need for a generational change in mindset of the youth by taking up opportunities available to them regardless of their background or social status.

Daniel Fennel also mentioned the significance of having a reference module as a key determinant to self-accomplishment in society.

He also assured Nino of the American Embassy’s support to his cause and wished him the very best in his endeavor.
