Team Ghana: Grant drops Inkoom and Adusei as Black Stars name AFCON 23


Samuel Inkoom was the big name casualty from Ghana’s AFCON 23 after Avram Grant named his final 23 on Wednesday.The Houston Dynamo defender was dropped along with Kwabena Adusei and Ibrahim Moro.

Sogndal striker Mahatma Otoo however received a late call to replace injured Abdul Majeed Waris while Jeffrey Schlupp also missed out after failing to recover in time from an injury. There was also good news for Cambridge United’s Kwesi Appiah who makes a trip to first AFCON.
