Samini, along with some big names in the Ghanaian music industry, over the weekend thrilled the Dansoman community and its environs with some spectacular performances at the ‘DC PayBack Concert’.
According to organisers, the rationale behind the concert was to provide Ghanaian artistes from Dansoman the platform to give back to the neighbourhood they grew from.
Dansoman has produced numerous Ghanaian talents including Samini, Sonni Balli, Ex-Doe, Tic Tac and Kaakie among others.
The event, put together by YFM and the Dansoman community, with support from Kasapreko Air-Force Bitters, was held at the Dansoman Liberty Park with massive performances by Episode, Sonni Balli, Lil Shaker and Ex-Doe among others, giving the crowd a memorable night of music.
A surprise performance by London-based dancehall act Sonni Balli and highlife singer Nii Lantey put excitement on the faces of patrons.
