Here we come: South Africa arrive in Gabon ahead of AFCON

Bafana Bafana have safely arrived in Libreville, the capital of Gabon, where they have set up camp to prepare for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in neighbouring Equatorial Guinea.

After a four-hour flight from Johannesburg the squad landed at the Libreville Leon M’ba International Airport.

It was hot and humid as bursts of rain greeted Bafana after they had checked into their hotel.

The team will have a rest in the morning and will train in the afternoon with another session scheduled for Friday, before taking on Cameroon in an international friendly.

The clash against the Indomitable Lions will take place on Saturday at the Stade de L’amitie in Libreville. Kick-off is at 20h00 local time (21h00 SA time).

A second warm-up match for South Africa is being finalised and is scheduled for 13/14 January in Gabon.
