Dream and purpose: Hearts target is to win the league – Frank Nelson

Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frank Nelson has unconditionally stated that, the target for the Phobians is to win the 2014/15 Ghana league title.

The Phobians have been without a major silverware for the past 5 seasons after their 2008/09 league triumph and on countless occasions have failed to make a meaningful impact in the domestic front.

According to Mr. Nelson Hearts of Oak have no excuse than to win the season’s league because the club’s fans are not happy with club’s title drought.

‘It has been years since Hearts of Oak won the league and the fans are not happy because the club is not winning titles; but this season the club’s major target is to win the league title because in-terms of motivation, medically – everything is on the right path but the players must be 100% focus if we want to win the league title,” Frank Nelson noted.

He further added that the team is ready for this year’s CAF confederation Cup competition but ‘AS Police our opponent from Benin, they are very good because they are doing well in their domestic league and we have to prepare adequately for them’.

Accra Hearts of Oak will open their 2014/15 league season at home to newly promoted side West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) on the 18th January, 2015.
