Famous BBC journalist Farayi Mungazi tips Ghana to win 2015 AFCON title

Famous but controversial BBC Africa Football editor Farayi Mungazi has surprisingly made a -U-turn by stating categorically that Ghana will win the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations trophy.

The Zimbabwean astute journalist, who is known for not supporting the Black Stars in tournaments, made the claim on his return to work after the Christmas and New Year break.

Mungazi, who is highly respected across Africa for his style, made the dramatic u-turn in his posting by stating that the Black Stars will win the tournament even though hopes are faint.

The team has been struggling since the World Cup in June last year and have been placed in the Group of Death in the tournament in Equatorial Guinea.

Despite that, Mungazi is confident that the Black Stars will overcome their difficulties to win the competition.

My big prediction of 2015: Ghana’s Black Stars to win the Africa Cup of Nations. You heard it here first!,” Mungazi wrote on Twitter.
