Mahama Unable To Sanction Corrupt AppointeesMP Laments

Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Kweku Agyeman-Manu has said the unbridled corruption in the Mahama-led administration has disgraced all politicians in the country.

He stated that corruption has become a household name, worrying for a democratic country like Ghana.

Speaking with Adom News, Mr. Agyeman-Manu, who is also the Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central, bemoaned President Mahama’s inability to sanction appointees involved in corrupt practices.

“The president has surrounded himself with people who he cannot question if they involve in corrupt practices,” he added.

Kwaku Agyeman-Manu said Cabinet always makes bad decisions due to the inexperienced people at the presidency.

On the way forward, the former Deputy Finance Minister challenged President Mahama to be financially disciplined to salvage the ailing economy.

Kwaku Agyeman-Manu stressed that if the government does not change the way they think and also manage the resources of the nation, Ghanaians will continue to wallow in abject poverty.
