Injured Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris is set to join French Ligue 1 side Lille, according to reports in Turkey.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a superb loan spell in France with Valenciennes last term, and was but close to a €4m deal for the player last Summer Spartak Moscow decided to sell him to Trabzonspor for €5.5m in September.
However, Lille are weighing a 6.5 milion Euro bid for the services of the Ghanaian budding goal poacher who is interested in returning to France.
Waris has already told Trabzonspor that he wants to leave in the January transfer window having failed to settle in Turkey.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Ligue 1 relegated side Valenciennes where he scored nine goals in 16 matches.
The Trabzonspor goal poacher has been ruled out of action for the next 10-15 days and could miss the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations if he fails to recover in time for the tournament.
