Mahatma Otoo trained with the Black Stars in their second non–residential session at the Lizzy Sports Complex on New Year’s Day.

The Sogndal striker is in town following the completion of his first full season in Norway.

Otoo is officially not part of the provisional call-ups for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

He was however allowed to pull on one of the Black Stars’ training kits to join the session.

The number of the players at the session remained unchanged from the ones that opened Ghana’s preparations on Wednesday.

Head coach Avram Grant still remained absent from the session despite being in the country.

Assistant coach Maxwell Konadu and newly appointed physical trainer Jamie Lawrence presided over the session and were assisted by one white trainer named Gerald, who is officially unknown to the public.

The team is expected to continue with their non – residential preparations until Sunday when they travel to Spain to commence camping ahead of the 17 January tournament in Equatorial Guinea.
