Ghana midfielder Kamal Issah has said he feels flattered to have played against world-class players in the 2012-13 Uefa Champions League while featuring for Nordsjaeland.

The 22-year-old Ghanaian said it was a miraculous moment for him as his side faced Chelsea in the European top-flight inter-club competition.

“I will say it was an amazing day for me, not to talk about the moment of my football career. I was amazed because as a young player of my caliber, when you see yourself playing alongside Torres, Oscar, Ramires, you become happy,” Issah told Goal Ghana.

“So I will say that day was a great day for me.”

According to him, with hard work, perseverance and prayers, he will soon be part of the Black Stars, hoping he will make the cut for subsequent Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup.

“I always have faith in Allah that one day I will be in the senior national team,” the Stabaek midfielder said.
