Kwesi Nyantakyi: I don’t fear to lose my seat as Ghana FA president

Kwesi Nyantakyi says he does not fear any opponent ahead of this year’s Ghana Football Association presidential election.

The affable football administrator will be seeking re-election later in the year after going unopposed four years when Neil Amstrong-Mortagbe and Vincent Sowah Odotei were disqualified from the race for filing irregularities.

Nyantakyi is tipped to retain his seat but there are murmuring he could be toppled over by Randy Abbey, who is yet to announce his intention to contest.

But the CAF Executive Committee says he is ready to contest anybody who comes up.

“I’m not afraid of any opponent because the election is not do or die affair so whoever is ready to contest can come,” Nyantakyi said on Asempa FM.

“I did not elect myself as GFA president but God used people to elect so if it is your time, it will surely come to pass.”
