Ghana ace Kwadwo Asamoah and his Juventus side will play Benfica\u00a0in the semi-finals of the\u00a0Europa\u00a0League.<\/p>\n

The versatile player lasted the entire duration as the Bianconeri beat \u00a0Lyon 3-1 on aggregate on Thursday night to reach the last four for the first time since 1995.<\/p>\n

The last time the Old Lady met with\u00a0Benfica\u00a0was in the quarter-finals of the 1992-93\u00a0UEFA\u00a0Cup, which\u00a0Juve\u00a0won through 4-2 on aggregate.<\/p>\n

The other semi-final is an all Spanish affair, with Valencia drawn against\u00a0Sevilla.<\/p>\n

The first leg of both ties, which will have\u00a0Juventus\u00a0and Valencia as away, will be played on Thursday April 24, with reverse legs held a week later on Thursday May 1.<\/p>\n

At today’s draw,\u00a0UEFA\u00a0also determined that the winners from the semi-final between\u00a0Sevilla\u00a0and Valencia will be the nominal home side for the final.<\/p>\n

This means that should\u00a0Juve\u00a0make it through to the final on May 14, they will face the curious experience of being the designated away side at their own ground.<\/p>\n
