Black Stars coach Avram Grant has stated his reign will be characterized by a free flowing attacking style of play. Grant faced the Ghanaian media for the first time as he was officially unveiled as head coach of the senior national team.
He faced a range of questions such as his objectives ahead of the 2015 AFCON, as well as his playing philosophy.
Grant told the press his teams would always go for victories, but he would be minded by the risks of playing open football.
“I really enjoy attractive football and I believe we have quality players to play attractive football. I believe in good and attacking football but at the end of the day you will need balance to get in good shape,” he revealed.
He added that the team’s players must be aware of the dangers of attacking football.
The players must also work hard not to concede goals with this style.
“In all, my philosophy is balance. The team will play attractive football with balance,” he said.
