XCLUSIV FOTOS: What Happened On Stage At Legends and Legacy Ball 2014

The much publicized and well attended fourth edition of Legends and Legacy Ball designed to honour living Ghanaian music legends, witnessed the celebration of veteran Afro-reggae and highlife musician, Kojo Antwi popularly known as the ‘Music Maestro’ or ‘Mr. Musicman’ at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday night November.

The concert which was well attended by politicians, captains of industry, celebrities and more, was hosted by Legends and Legacy Ball regular host and radio personality, Kwame Sefa Kayi.
Eccentric Singer Nuella Wiyaala started the night off She was then followed by Wutah Afriyie who performed ‘love of my life’, ‘Bomi Nkomo De’ among others.

He was followed by Kwaisey Pee and Edem before Kwabena Kwabena. Lawyer Nana Asante Bediatuo then made an appearance, performing ‘Medo Fo Pa’. Ekua China, a Chinese woman also pulled up a surprising performance of Kojo Antwi’s hit song, ‘Tom & Jerry’ much to the delight of patrons.

Uncle Ebo Whyte’s Roverman crew also performed a sketch interpreting to the songs of the maestro.Akwaboah Jnr, MzVee, Kaakie and Efya took their turns to perform different Kojo Antwi songs. South African veteran performer, Yvonne Chaka Chaka proved that she still got it when she hit the stage. She excited the crowd with her infectious pop and girlish charm.

She pulled Akwaboah Jnr and Becca on stage to join her in performing ‘Adinkra’. Nacy took us to church with his inspirational praised and also did his bit to celebrate Kojo Antwi before the legend and honoree Kojo Antwi himself mounted the stage to treat the audience to his kind of music.

As part of his performance, Kojo also invited few important people who according to him, have contributed to his very successful music career and his personality. He invited his wife for 20 years, his two sons, his backup singer Nana Yaa, a South African singer which feature on his “Afafranto” song, Mapuka dancers among others to express his gratitude to them.
