Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih
Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmed, Khalifatul Masih V, Supreme Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, has confirmed the appointment of Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih as the new Ameer and Missionary-In-Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Ghana.
Maulvi Salih had earlier been appointed by the Supreme Head as Acting Ameer after the death of Maulana (Dr) A. Wahab Adam in June this year.
Before his appointment to the position of Acting Ameer, Maulvi Salih was the Second Deputy Ameer of the Mission.
He has just returned home from the UK after leading a high-powered Ahmadi Muslim delegation to the 48 th International Annual Conference of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in London.
Thousands of Ahmadi Muslims from over 200 countries, including Ghana, attended the conference.
