Gerald Ankrah has confirmed his appointment as the new Managing Director for Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak.
The Executive Director of the Ghana Independent Broadcaster Association has been handed a two year contract to replace Neil Armstrong Mortagbe who resigned earlier this year.
Ankrah is expected to be officially unveiled in a ceremony on Tuesday.
He confirmed being handed the appointment but says he will only announce his plans for the club after his official presentation.
“Yes, I have been given the nod,” he confirmed to Metro FM.
“It is a two-year contract but you will get to know the details later.
“I have been in football for a long time especially with Hearts of Oak.
“I don’t talk much but if you ask about me from the Hearts people, they will tell you more.
“I will announce my programs and initiatives after I have been officially appointed.”
Ankrah will be tasked to the day-to-day running of Hearts of Oak as they look to reclaim their past glory in the coming season.
