Investigate Other Gov’t Officials On Profligate Expenditure

National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, John Boadu wants the Government of Ghana to launch investigations into the expenses made on residential places of government officials and public sector agencies in the country.

According to him, it will be prudent for government to open up on some huge expenditures involved in securiing a place of residence for Chief Executives and even Deputy Ministers.

John Boadu was reacting to the allegations of financial malfeasance leveled against the Commissioner of the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), Ms. Lauretta Lamptey.

Addressing the issue on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo”, he intimated that some government officials have been making profligate expenses from State coffers and so, held strongly that Ms. Lauretta Lamptey should not only be the victim in the financial misappropriation scandal.

To him, the alleged malfeasance of CHRAJ Boss is just a tip of the iceberg.
