Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed has revealed he will go into full time farming when his football career ends.
The 24-year old, who currently plays for Russian club Kuban Krasnodar, is said to own a vast farm land in Ghana.
The land is already being used to cultivate some crops which offer a good source of employment for Ghanaians.
Rabiu’s farm forms part of other investments made by affluent Ghanaian players to help boost the nation’s economy by providing jobs to Ghanaian youth.
Other Ghanaian players like Asamoah Gyan, Michael Essien, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu are also making similar contributions to nation building through the businesses they have in the country.
Rabiu, who is a regular feature in the Black Stars team in recent years, dreams of returning to full time farming when he ends his professional football career.
“I admire farming a lot so even after football I have the ambition to go into full time farming,” he said in an interview with GFA TV
