ORS Agents Engage Beauty Queens

Wesley Ricketts interacting with some contestants of Ghana’s Most Beautiful

Managing Director of Nelspruit Communications Limited, Wesley Ricketts has advised Ghanaian ladies to be careful about the type of hair products they use and the manner in which these are applied since they could enhance or mar the beauty of their hair and personality.

Interacting with the ladies in TV3’s ‘Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2014’ contest at a ceremony in Accra last Saturday, he stressed the need for women to use suitable hair products to avoid the loss of their hair.

The ceremony formed part of the outdoor programmes for the beauty pageants in the residential ‘Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2014’ programme under the auspices of TV3.

ORSâ„¢, a leading brand in hair products, is one of the sponsors of the ‘Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2014’ contest.

Mr Ricketts introduced some of the ORSâ„¢ brands, such as Olive Oil, Olive Oil Girls, Hair Restoration, HAIRepair, Natural Haircare, Essential Oils, Tea Tree Anti-Bump and Weave RX, to the Ghana’s Most Beautiful ladies.

He said each of the ORSâ„¢ hair products is suitable for specific hair conditions, adding that their names reflected the job they did.

The ladies later demonstrated their talent in marketing by posing as agents of ORSâ„¢ to introduce its products to prospective customers.

ORS is the rebranded name of Organic Root Stimulator, and according to Mr Ricketts, the rebranded name is easier to remember, while giving it a fresh and new look.

The Business Head (West Africa) of Dabur International Ltd., Samrat Watts said the rebranding was to make ORS more presentable, pointing out that ‘the sense and soul of the product are the same.’

He said ORS had a very strong presence in Africa, particularly West Africa and that business had been good in Ghana.

‘But now, we want to expand to various areas of Ghana rather than just concentrate on the bigger cities like Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi so that we can provide the best solutions to every Ghanaian,’ he added.

Mr Watts said ORS was sponsoring the Ghana’s Most Beautiful contest because it identified with the beauty of the Ghanaian woman.
