Kwesi Appiah To Face World Cup Commission On Thursday

Sacked Black Stars coach, James Kwesi Appiah will appear before the commission set up by the president to investigate Ghana’s shambolic 2014 FIFA World Cup staged in Brazil.

The 54-year-old will be giving evidence alongside ex-Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah, one of his backroom staff at the global football festival.

Despite cautions from FIFA that intrusion into wider areas apart from parts where government funded activities is investigated; Kwesi Appiah and officials from the GFA will be appearing before Justice Dzamefe comission to give its version of events with some questions to answer on what really happened in Brazil.

The former coach is likely to answer questions on why the Black Stars boycotted training sessions and revolted against officials over the payment of appearance fees.
