Gov’t commends NACOB for reducing drug trafficking

The Narcotics Control Board of Ghana has been commended by the government for helping to reduce drug trafficking in the country.

However, it has been tasked to intensify its effort to bring the canker to the barest minimum.

Interior Minister, Mark Woyongo, who was addressing officials and staff of the NACOB Friday, said for this reason, the government was providing them with the necessary logistics to reduce the drug trade in the country.

He noted, the government would continue to make incentive packages available to the board and its informants, to serve as motivation to provide even more information on such criminals hiding in the country.
