Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur yesterday had a close door meeting with Ivoirian President Alassan Ouattara at the VVIP Lounge of the Kotoka International Airport.
President Ouattara made a stop over in Accra enroute to Abidjan after attending an investment conference with investors from the Gulf states in Dubai.
The Ivoirian leader who described Ghana as his home, said the conference was put together by the West African Monetary Union and the African Development Bank.
He told the media that eight French West African speaking countries, who are also members of UEMOA, attended the conference.
President Ouattara said the conference was successful as the Gulf state investors pledged to invest 20 billion dollars in a number projects in the eight West African nations.
