Andre Ayew is aware of the threat Emmanuel Adebayor posses to the Black Stars but says the Black Stars are not scared of the Togolese striker.
The Black Stars engage their Togolese counterparts at the Lome national stadium on Wednesday in a match which both teams need to win to make sure they win back the love of their fans, especially Ghana.
Adebayor returned to the Hawks in time to face Ghana in their second Group G match of the qualifiers of the tournament to be played in Morocco early next year.
And Andre says the Tottenham striker will not be able to stop the Black Stars from their ambitions of winning the match in Lome. “Adebayor is a big player, we all know what he can do, but we are not scared or afraid of him,” Andre told allsports.com.gh.
“We want to win all our matches and progress to Morocco. So whether Adebayor plays or not, we want to win.”
Togo lost 2-1 to Guinea in their first game, whiles the Black Stars drew 1-1 with Uganda at the Baba Yara stadium last Saturday.
