To be National Organizer not child’s play – Boateng Gyan tells Adams

The National Organizer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Yaw Boateng Gyan has challenged the party’s Deputy General Secretary, Kofi Adams to quit the vile propaganda and campaign based on his own track record.

According to him, Kofi Adams who is vying for the National Organizer position has adopted ‘communist inferior tactics’ for his campaign “because he cannot match [him] boot for boot”.

Mr. Boateng Gyan made the comment on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Tuesday, whiles reacting to claims that he is the weakest link in the NDC.

The aspiring National Organizer has called on party delegates to vote out Boateng Gyan if they really want to retain the party in power after 2016 elections.

Kofi Adams maintained that the organizational structure of the party is weak and may cost the NDC the elections if the incumbent National Organiser is retained.

In a riposte, Yaw Boateng Gyan questioned the organizational skills of Kofi Adams even as Deputy General Secretary since “I’m yet to see his [Adams] contribution to the NDC campaign in the 2012 elections”

He described as unfortunate how the quest for power has clouded Mr. Adams’ judgement.

“Kofi Adams keeps telling people I don’t know my job but I wonder if he understands what the role of a national organizer is. I worked to bring the party to power and I know the delegates will reward my hard work” he added.

Mr. Boateng Gyan explained that to be a National Organizer of NDC is not a child’s play and “it will take a matured mind to deliver power for the party as an organizer” he stated.

Stressing that he has no ill feelings against Kofi Adams, the incumbent believes he [Adams] is not matured enough for the job.

Yaw Boateng Gyan said he still remains the man to beat in the race.
