Victims of the recent fire outbreak at the Kumasi Central Market have received support to boost their businesses.

Multi Credit Savings and Loan Limited, a financial institution, has presented a staggering GH¢30,000 to traders that lost their wares in the blaze.

The donation, which came as surprise to the beneficiaries, formed part of the corporate social responsibility of Multi Credit Savings and Loans.

It was all joy at the Kumasi Central market when Multi Credit officials visited the place to present the money to the traders.

Jane marshal Amissah, who is in charge of Sales and marketing, Multi Credit, said the beneficiaries transact business with Multi Credit at the Bantama, roman Hill, Adum, Alabar and Krofrom branches.

As part of the package, Mrs. Amissah explained that the loans of victims, who secured loan from Multi Credit, had been cancelled.

Multi Credit is a caring financial institution so it cannot sit aloof for its customers to suffer.

Multi Credit wants to ensure that its customers work in a peaceful atmosphere so as to boost their businesses, she said.

She expressed hope that the presentation of the cash by her outfit would help lessen the plight of the traders.
