Second edition of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) Grand Ball, which came place at the Banquet Hall, State House in Accra on Friday, September 5, 2014 was indeed a great night.
The night brought together legendary Hi-Life musicians, influential corporate bodies and individuals and other stakeholders from the music industry to wine, dine and raise money to support the Ageing Musicians Welfare Fund (AMWEF) of MUSIGA.
Most of the performances on the night brought nostalgic memories to almost everybody present and they couldn’t help but hit the dance floor.
Nana Kwame Ampadu, K.K. Yeboah, Kofi Sammy, A.B. Crentsil, Papa Yankson, and Amakye Dede gave a rich feel of the good old Hi-Life tunes, while Kwabena Kwabene brought contemporary Hi-Life and Noble Nketsiah, Tagoe Sisters and No Tribe brought down the anointing.
The dance floor was busy throughout the event with the likes of Abeiku Santana, Afia Schwarzenegger, Tagoe Sisters, Obour, Mzbel, Blakofe, Diana Hopeson, among others dancing the night off during every performance.
