UT Bank Launches ‘100 For 100’ Promo

UT BANK Ghana Limited on Friday launched its new savings promotion dubbed, ‘The 100 For 100 Promo’ in Accra.

The promotion, which would end in December 2014, is aimed at encouraging the culture of savings among the largely unbanked Ghanaians.

Prizes to be won under the ‘100 For 100 Promo’ include refrigerators, microwave ovens, mobile phones, television sets, as well as cash prizes of GH¢30,000, GH¢10,000 and GH¢100,000, among others.

Customers, who are interested in participating in the promotion, are expected to deposit GH¢100 or multiples of it into their personal current, personal savings or ‘Koowa’ accounts to win points, which will qualify them for the grand draw.

Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs of UT Bank, Rami Baitie, commenting on the promotion, in a statement, indicated that UT Bank had developed this concept to deepen relationship with its customers and encourage the culture of savings in the country.

He said ‘rewarding loyal customers and extending a warm welcome to new clients is key to strengthening relationships between the bank and its patrons, adding that ‘these activities are in line with our efforts at being the preferred bank for every Ghanaian.’

According to him, the grand draw for the ‘100 for 100 promo’ would take place in January 2015 with the first prize winner going home with a whopping GH¢100,000, while the second winner receives GH¢30,000 and the third prize winner GH¢10,000.

UT Bank Ghana Limited commenced business as finance house in 1997.

It evolved from a lending company to a publicly owned Universal Bank with shares listed and actively traded on the Ghana Stock

Exchange (GSE).
It was awarded the CIG Bank of the Year 2011 and Most Respected Company in 2012.
