AMAA Organizing Committee Call For Submissions Ahead Of 2015 Edition

As the award ceremony and gala draws neared, the organizers of the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards have called for entries ahead of the 2015 edition.

The announcement was made at the praise jam and media recognition awards held on Sunday, August 31, 2014 by Tony Anih, the awards’ Director of Administration.

Anih said entries for the awards will be open till Monday, December 1, 2014.

‘We have given a four-month window to enable entries come in from all parts of Africa and from the Diaspora Film makers and as well to give room for logistics of sending to our regional offices in Ghana, Nairobi and Johannesburg and our Lagos Office,’ Anih said.

He further stated that the full length feature films should not exceed 120 minutes and must not carry any commercial of any product or service and that movies shot in languages other than English must be well subtitled before submission.

The awards made debut its 2005 and has since honoured over hundred film makers in Africa and a host of actors from different corners of Africa.
