Once again, my attention has been drawn to a publication on several news portals, which seeks to undermine my persona and that of Mr. Kwabena Agyepong, the General-Secretary of the NPP.
Through out my formative days and till now, I have always demonstrated my absolute commitment, loyalty and desire to serve the party in all honesty.
I was instrumental in both the 2008 and 2012 campaigns and I shall continue to do so for the party. I have never abhorred any ill motive and neither will I ever be engaged in any ‘dark agenda’ against Nana Akufo Addo or any of our party elders.
I joined this party on my own merit and I am entitled to my own opinions. The attempt to link my actions and inactions to Mr. Kwabena Agyepong is shameful, hypocritical and smacks of bad faith. I have served Nana Ohene Ntow and Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie (Sir John) and will continue to render my service to the current General Secretary.
In as much as I may share divergent opinions on matters that arise in our party, it does not warrant those who disagree with me to begin to scheme all sorts of vitriolic, diabolic and naked propaganda to dent my credibility and also to court disaffection against me in the eyes of our party people.
These publications are nothing but palpable falsehood without any form except for propaganda value. It is interesting to also note that; they are all published under anonymous names by these coward schemers.
Men of courage built our party, and it is this spirit that has driven this party and continued to strengthen my resolve till this day. I am unfazed by the blatant orchestration by some opportunist and interest group to discredit me, and the office of the General Secretary.
I urge all well-meaning party faithful to disregard any publication that seeks to initiate and promote confusion amongst us as NPP members – united we stand, divided we fall.
The unity and victory of our party in 2016 is non-negotiable and I shall extend all my energies, strength and focus in ensuring that the NPP forms the next government regardless of who becomes the flagbearer.
