CEO of Life Wellness Center, Kola Braimah has given an expert advice to Ghanaians that diabetes can be prevented through eating good food and maintaining a general healthy lifestyle. He was speaking during a re-launching ceremony of a state-of-the Art therapeutic centre here in Accra.
The launch which coincided with the spas CEO, Mr. Kola Braimahs 50th Birthday saw a number of dignitaries and love ones including patrons and well wishers coming together to share ideas and experience on their visit to the spa and also to congratulate Mr. Braimah for contributing positively towards shaping the individual to live a healthy lifestyle.
He expressed the hope that the spas vision will be to shape the human being through therapy, good food and healthy living.
Life Wellness Centre which started about three years ago as Hope Wellness Centre has been established to make people understand that their health is in their hands. ‘’If one is on medication, usually we help you step it down by using healthy natural practise. ‘’-Mr. Braimah reiterated.
Furthermore in a press briefing during the event, he further stated that, the food and nutrition agenda is always brought to the fore in treating any health condition related to therapy.
Similarly, diabetic conditions according the CEO, has been reversed through appropriate local conditions. Life wellness uses holistic wellness assessment methods in their diagnosis and treatment.
In a related development, former renowned midwife from the UK and affectionate friend of Mr.Braimah popularly called Mama Luu says studies from WHO showed that 70% of poor health is a result of poor nutrition, therefore good nutrition can promote or ensure good health.
Good Nutrition, Exercise and good food are ultimate features of a healthy life.
Mr.Braimah lastly advised that if ones immune system is around 7.4, its fine and the person is seen as healthy.
The paramount goal of Life Wellness is to bring it to World class stage of a modern wellness where people from far and near and all walks of life can come and seek refuge.
Currently, there are some volunteer Doctors from the USA at the spa to help with advanced psychoneurotic treatment.
