Celebs Hit Streets Over New Movie

Popular Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, and the cast for her upcoming movie, Single, Married & Complicated, took to the streets in Accra on Monday to promote the new movie.

The new movie, currently generating a lot of buzz on social media, was produced by Yvonne Nelson’s YN production and will premiere at Silverbird Cinemas on Friday, September 5, from 6pm.

It was an unusual sight, and arguably the first time in Ghana, for motorists and pedestrians to come across some of the country’s most famous actors and celebrities sharing movie flyers on the open streets.

The actors also interacted with members of the public, posed for photo opportunities and generally tried to establish a rapport with the public in an attempt to promote the movie ahead of its Friday premiere.

Actress Yvonne Nelson, Liberian born Ghanaian actor, Eddie Watson, James Gardner, music star Chase Forever, Alexx Ekubo, radio personality Deloris Frimpong-Manso, new actress Priscilla Mawuena and several others were among the celebs on the streets.

They had good reception from motorists while hanging with hawkers at that stretch of the road.

Single, Married & Complicated is a sequel to the 2012 hit movie, ‘Single & Married’ by Yvonne Nelson.

It continues the story of three recently married female friends, all with challenges within their marriages, as they embarked on a journey to discover what it takes to make a marriage succeed.

It stars both Nigerian and Ghanaian actors including Chris Attoh, Tana Adelana, Eddie Watson, Anita Erksine, Alexx Ekubo, John Dumelo and James Gardiner.

Female musician Eazzy, TV presenter Berla, Nigerian comedian Hogan and a host of other new faces including Priscilla Mawuena also feature in the movie.
