Project co coordinator for the Ghana World Cup secretariat and Managing Director of Evolution International Mr. Fred Ebo Darko has fingered Mobile Telecommunication Network MTN in his submission to the Commission of Inquiry into the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Making his submission on Wednesday, Mr. Darko told the Commission that one of the gateways which the secretariat used to raising funds was through an sms campaign called ‘Fanatic Pool’ but they couldn’t realize their dream because MTN who was part of their deal backed off only to counter them with their MTN Bola Promo.
“We will call MTN here to come and explain why they would stab the Nation in the back,” Mr. Moses Foh-Amoaning said.
But Mr. Ayine who came as a friend of the commission told the commission that there’s an ongoing legal battle between MTN and the National Lottery Authority concerning the same issue.
