Ben Kwoufie Defends Sulley Muntari Et Al

Former Chairman of the Ghana Football Association, Ben Kwoufie has jumped to the defense of Sule Muntari and his other colleagues who rebelled in Brazil over their appearance fees.

Some senior players of the national team, including Sule Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng were reported to have gotten angry in Brazil over delays in paying their appearance fees and other bonuses.

This resulted in the outright dismissal of Sule Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng from the senior national team for what GFA management described as gross misconduct.

On the contrary, a former Chairman of the Ghana Football Association, Ben Kwoufie says Sule Muntari and co did no wrong with their demands.

The veteran sports former administrator, Ben Kwoufie spoke to Citi Sports on the sidelines here at the Tamale Sports stadium where 62 license ā€˜Cā€™ coaches are attending a two-week course.

Ben Kwoufie however, said discipline should be maintained in the senior national team.
