Reports reaching DAILY GUIDE indicate that Mrs. Akosua Dedaa and his husband, Kofi Owusu, who got married over seven years ago, lived together with their two kids in the same two-bedroom self-contained apartment.
Last week Friday, it was gathered, Kofi Owusu and a friend, Kwabena Nkonya, went to a funeral at Kwahu-Brenadi in the same municipality, and informed his wife before their departure that they would return Monday afternoon.
An eyewitness, Thomas Mireku, told this paper that on Monday, Mr. Kofi Owusu and his friend returned as early as 4:30 am without telling his wife that they would come back that early.
According to Thomas, when Kofi and his friend reached the house, he heard a strange ecstatic noise inside his bedroom. The man was said to have knocked at the door several times, but the wife refused to open it.
Kofi owusu, according to the eyewitness, picked a pestle and broke the door open. When he entered the room, he was said to have caught the wife and Paa Yaw red-handed, seriously romancing in his bed.
The terrified husband, who could not control his temper, managed to get hold of the bonking man, dragged him out of the room with his friend (Kwabena Nkonya) and raised an alarm for the neighbours to come and witness the incident.
Mrs. Dedaa, who could not stand the disgrace, purportedly managed to run away to an unknown place.
The bonking man was sent to the Nkawkaw Police Station and kept behind bars.
At the time of filing this report, the community elders, led by the Asafoaste, had gone to the Police Commander to seek bail for the suspect, and pleaded for the matter to be settled at home.
DAILY GUIDE gathered that Paa Yaw’s parents later went to plead on his behalf but Kofi Owusu refused to listen to them. Speculations were rife that Paa would be taken to the Nkawkaw chief’s palace on Tuesday for the necessary sanction to be meted out to him.
