Lexis Bill mans up on the cover of Eventguide magazine

Lexis Bill is one of the regular and most recognisable voices on Ghana’s number one radio station, Joy 99.7FM. He is the host of the nation’s premier late afternoon radio show, Drive Time on Joy FM.

On TV, he is the host of male dominated reality talk show, Men’s World. He hosted Season 2 of the educational reality show, The Challenge and is a regular panel member of GhOne TV’s The Pundits entertainment talk show.

Lexis, known in real life as Kwame Sakyiamah  cut his teeth into Ghana’s entertainment forefront as host of Hitz FM’s morning show and later joined Joy FM as host of  the most listened to late-night radio show, Late Night Express on Joy FM  and succeeded in serenading listeners with amazing love songs.

He had his secondary school education at Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, (PRESEC-Legon) and proceeded to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Lexis is currently pursuing an MBA in Human Resource Development at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

As adventurous as he is, he combined hosting a radio morning show with university education till he moved to Kapital Radio in Kumasi in his third year.

After his university education, he had a two year stint with Radio Xtacy in Kumasi till his move to Multimedia’s Hitz FM as morning show host.

He was nominated for Best Morning Show host of the year in 2012. After building a successful brand, he moved to Joy fm. He also hosts Joy FM’s educational radio contest, The Scholarship.

He still is the only presenter in Ghana to host two prime time radio programs on two different radio stations for a week, a feat he completed in 2011 after juggling the morning show on Hitz fm and the Drive Time on Joy FM.

His smooth voice and diction coupled with his eclectic music selection and great sense of humour has made him the toast of the capital
