Ghana’s sensational boxer Braimah “Bukom Banku” Kamoko, is set to mount the ring again for another money spinning bout with a Ghanaian compatriot, John Napari of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
The two boxers appended their signatures to the fight contract at a press conference, held in Accra on Monday.
The fight, fixed for Saturday, October 3, will be under the auspices of Lause House McDon Multi Media Entertainment, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The fight tagged “No Retreat, No Surrender” will see the two boxers battling for the World Boxing Authority (WBA) Cruiser weight title.
Kamoko, said at the press conference that, he was happy to fight the army officer, adding that it will give him the needed competition in his career.
According to Kamoko, his opponent will not survive the entire 12 rounds, because he was poised to record another knockout.
“I want to appeal to the Ghana Armed Forces to advise Napari to withdraw from the fight because his career in the army may be coming to an end.
“If they refuse to advise him, then then should be ready to bury an officer soon.”
Napari, told the media that, Kamoko’s dominance in boxing will come to an end on October 3.
“I have watched him over the years and I think I have the antidote to his style. I will knock him out before the twelfth round”.
He however rejected claims that, he was in the fight to make money.
“I am a full time employee of the Ghana Armed Forces and therefore money is not the motivation behind my decision.
“I just to want to make history by silencing Bukom Banku for once in his life.” He stated.
