Kalybos with his co-actor Ahuofe Patri
Many thought acclaimed Ghanaian comic actor Kalybos has ‘something’ to do with his co-actor Ahuofe Patri aside their roles in a comedy series, ‘Boys Kasa’.
But the love affair which has been foreboded by many turns out to be false when Kalybos [The only Bos with one’s’] for the first time publicly expressed love and affection to his co-star on radio.
According to Kalybos whose real name is Richard Asante, as human we are born alone, live alone but only through our love and friendship can create the illusion for the moment that we are not alone.
Speaking on Entertainment Review on Peace FM Kalybos admitted that, Ahuofe Patri does not take him serious even when he appears serious and that has caused him a lot.
When asked by the host of the program Kwesi Aboagye whether he has proposed to Ahuofe Patri, Kaybos said yes but the response wasn’t what he projected.
‘People think we are dating but the truth is we are not. I love her [Ahuofe Patri] and I have told her but she doesn’t take me serious…maybe because I am funny naturally. She is a perfect lady and I am in love with her.
‘…I hope she will take me serious after publicly saying this for the first time on radio. Peace FM is a big platform you know’ he said
He however noted that, despite the turn down by Ahuofe Patri, he enjoys working with her.
