UniCredit, a leading savings and loans company in Ghana, has donated computers to the Railway Division of the Ghana Police Service.

Presenting the items at a brief ceremony at the division, Bright Antwi Owusu, Assistant Finance and Administrative Manager of uniCredit, said the donation would help the division to carry out its functions.

He said his outfit focuses on issues that directly benefit communities within its operational areas both in the short-term and the long-term.

Mr Antwi Owusu expressed the hope that the items, which are meant to help the division to process its documents and also boost the protection of such documents, would go a long way to improve service delivery of the division in particular and the Ghana Police Service as a whole.

Mr Antwi Owusu emphasized the positive relationship that uniCredit has with the Ghana Police.

He said the Police, especially the division, have been part of the operations of the institution since it commenced business eight years ago. DSP Issifu Tanko Iddrisu, the Divisional Commander, thanked uniCredit and promised to use the items to enhance their operations for the benefit of all.
