Kotoko Goalie Isaac Amoako Ruled Out For Six Weeks After Sustaining Knee Injury

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Isaac Amoako has been ruled out for six weeks after aggravating his knee last week.

The 30-year-old shot-stopper according to reports sustained a knee injury last season during Kotoko’s FA Cup semi-final game against city rivals King Faisal at the Babayara Sports Studium, but worsened the case in the team’s training section at Adarko-Jachie a week ago.

The former BA United and Ashanti Gold goalkeeper will however stay away from active football for one month and two weeks to enable him receive full medical attention from the Kotoko medics.

Amoako might therefore miss the Club’s pre-season training exercise before the commencement of the 2014/2015 season.
