The Perez International Church located at the Dzorwulu Junction in Accra last Saturday witnessed historic gospel musical performances from some selected Ghanaian gospel heavy weights who performed alongside international award-winning gospel artistes, Cece Winans and Israel Houghton at the 5 th edition of Adom Praiz.

It was a night of praise, worship and an enthralling show of stage performance displayed by the gospel music giants who thrilled gospel music fans with their various hit songs.

The show witnessed historic live music performances by Ghanaian superstars like Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Cecilia Marfo, Joe Mettle, No Tribe, Joyce Blessing and a host of others.

Music fans at the event yielded in admiration to every performance and poured out their hearts in adoration. Others who were over-excited and filled with the sweetness of the rhythms of the songs shed tears of joy.

All the local artistes performed creditably to the satisfaction of all music fans present as they brought to bear their several years of experience.

Energetic Cecelia Marfo proved she was worth all the screams and cheers that greeted her when she mounted the stage. Beginning with some worship songs, she gradually raised the tempo and finally exploded with her popular hit songs.

During Joyce Blessing’s performance on stage, there wasn’t a better moment than that night to declare to the crowd that they were blessed as she performed her popular songs. She got the precise response from the crowd with her songs.

Joe Mettle, Daughters of Glorious Jesus and others also mounted the stage amid loud cheers and a standing ovation.

International award-winning artistes, Cece Winans and Isreal Houghton, performed several of their hit songs on the night and enjoyed a good response from the crowd made up of resident and visiting Ghanaians and other nationals.

The show kicked off with Bishop James Saah sanctifying the gathering with an opening prayer, followed by Cecila Marfo who took to the stage and thrilled fans to their satisfaction.

No Tribe ended the night with a show of class as they got the crowd dancing and jumping in pure joy.

The host of Adom FM‘s Dwaso Nsem Morning Show programme, Captain Smart, emceed the show and was assisted by Rev Yaw Owusu-Ansah.
