The Police administration took the step to ensure that personnel acquire the requisite knowledge to effectively perform their duties.
Addressing the participants, the Central Regional Police Commander, DCOP Ransford Moses Ninson said Constables, Lance Corporals, Corporals, Sergeants and DSM were drawn for the course.
DCOP Ninson stated that the facilitators would take the police personnel, irrespective of their rank, through the relevant sections of the Service Regulation and other laws during the course.
He urged participants to pay attention to the lessons since exams would be conducted and only those who would pass would be promoted.
The regional commander emphasized the need for officers to conduct themselves professionally and observe the service code of conduct and ethics.
DCOP Ninson added that the Ghana Police Service would not tolerate any form of indiscipline by personnel.
