Rapper Fabolous was caught up in a terrifying shooting on Sunday night when a bouncer was shot at a New York City nightclub where he was partying.
The hip-hop star was enjoying a night out at the La Marina hotspot in Manhattan when an altercation broke out, and a security guard was shot in the neck as he attempted to break up the fight inside the venue.
The bouncer, Andre Obert, 27, was admitted to a nearby hospital and is now said to be in a stable condition. Police are hunting for the shooter.
Fabolous and his entourage were not hurt in the incident. Police confirmed to the New York Daily News that the star was close by when the gun went off, but was not involved.
