From Monday July 14, 2014, petroleum products will be sold a little over 20 percent their current prices, according to latest figures from the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).
The price of petrol (premium) saw the highest increase up 23.08 percent. This means a litre of the commodity, which currently sells at GH¢2.73 per litre from Monday sell at GH¢3.36 a litre.
Kerosene saw an increase of 23.75 percent and diesel 22.01 percent.
Diesel currently sells at 268.00 pesewas per litre but the price at the pumps will be sold at 327.00 pesewas from tomorrow.
Premix fuel increased by 25.60 per cent to GH¢1.57 per litre.
Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) saw an increase of 15.68 percent, selling now at GH¢3.32 per litre according to the latest NPA figures.
This would be the third time the NPA has increased fuel prices this year alone.

Meanwhile, transport operators have announced a 15% increment in fares with effect from Monday July 14.
The new fare announced Saturday, was reached after consultations between the Transport Ministry and the transport operators represented by the Ghana Road Transport Coordinating Council (GRTCC).
A joint statement to that effect was issued by the General Secretaries of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) and Ghana Road Transport Coordinating Council (GRTCC), Stephen K. Okudzeto and Alhaji Aliu Baba respectively.
The releases noted, the new transport fares cover intra-city (Trotro), inter-city (Long Distance) as well as Taxi Cabs.
