Own a YAMAHA motor bike under the Stanbic consumer finance product


Stanbic Bank Ghana and Japan Motors has entered into a partnership which will make brand new durable motorcycles easily available to salaried workers in the country.

Under the deal, Stanbic Bank Ghana will pre-finance the motorcycles to interested workers who will then secure the YAMAHA brand of bikes from Japan Motors.

Speaking at the launch, Head of Lending at the Personal Markets unit of the Bank, Fred Attafuah, said the Bank recognizes the need for salaried workers in the country to have comfortable and reliable means of transportation hence the partnership with Japan Motors.

Explaining how the new package works, Fred Attafuah said ‘Every Salaried worker who has a Stanbic Bank account is eligible for this offer.’

He said, through the bank’s loan facility, one will be able to buy a brand new Yamaha motor bike for his/her personal use. This offer is targeted at teachers, agriculture and health workers, local government workers and everyone looking to move to and from work with ease.

ImadGhorayeb, General Manager, – Sales and Marketing of Japan Motors said, ‘YAMAHA is a trusted brand in the motorcycle industry. We are particularly excited about this partnership with Stanbic Bank, another trusted brand, to bring comfort to workers and professionals in the country. This will surely be a great relief to many’, he said.

On his part, Head of Personal Markets, Stanbic Bank, Benjamin Mensah, said ‘Our purpose as a Bank is to make progress real. We recognize the hustle workers go through daily to commute in this country. It is also not easy to purchase these bikes with cash. This collaboration with Japan Motors is to ensure that workers especially those in the Northern regions acquire their own means of transport in order to boost their productivity’, he said.

Also, Branch Manager of Japan Motors in Tamale, Mr. Mahama was elated at the news that Stanbic is Partnering with Japan Motors to make Yamaha Motorcycles accessible to all workers, he assured all customers of continuous support.
