Father Of Three Kidnapped For Exposing Cultists, Reporting Armed Robbers To Police

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. A concerned citizen, Obazee Omhenimhen, was abducted by unknown gunmen on June 18, at their 7, Coker Estate residence in Alakuko area of the state.

According to the grieving wife, Stella Omhenimhen, her spouse had repeatedly reported activities of cultists, gang robbers and other crimes in the area, which had led to his abduction. The couple was at home when a group of people broke into the house and took the man away in unknown direction.

When attempts to contact her hubby phone failed as he left his cellphone at home, the woman immediately reported the matter to the police and other security agencies. The mother of three and other family members had to move to a new place as they fear for their lives. They also tried to search for him but with no success.

It was gathered that this was not the first time the kidnappers tried to abduct Obazee, but he managed to escape from them several times. The victim’s wife said Obazee, a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the University of Benin, left the last child, given birth to few weeks ago, behind.
