Ekiti Governor Warns Fahsola To Stop Interference

 Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola was on Tuesday warned by the governor elect of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, to stop interfering in the affairs of the state.

The waring was contained in a statement issued in Abuja by the former Attorney General of Ekiti State, Owoseni Ajayi.

Fayose, who contested the just concluded governorship election of Ekiti State under the big umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP said Fashola  should come to terms with the result of the governorship election, which he won. 

The governor-elect pointed out the comments credited to Fashola on the Ekiti poll were unbecoming of his status, adding that his words were also a direct insults on the sensibility of the people of the state.

Fayose, however, pleaded with Lagos governor to stop condemning the people of the state for choosing whom they wanted to govern them, noting that the plea was for the purpose of peace.

It would be recalled that the incumbent governor of Ekiti State, Fayemi Kayode, the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC wasn defeated by Ayodele Fayose with a wide margin in the just concluded governorship election.
