World Cup 2014: Ghana Sack Kevin Prince Boateng & Sulley Muntari From Camp

AC Milan star Sulley Muntari and Shalke 04 playmaker Kevin Prince Boateng have been sacked from the Ghana World Cup team by head coach James Kwasi Appiah, Ghanasportsonline.com can confirm.

The two ave been embroiled in extreme indiscipline and been involved in troublesome acts at the teams’ camps in Brazil and the coach now feels the two stars would be a distraction to the team with their continuous stay.

Muntari is alledged to have slapped a member of the Ghana National Team’s management committee by name Moses Armah and even chased him with broken bottles at the hotel over disagreements with appearance fees and other bonuses owed the players.

Kevin, who returned from a premature international retirement few months to the World Cup is believed to have had several altercations with the head coach of the team at the training grounds.

The former AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspurs star publicly criticized the managers’ formation and selection in the opening Group G loss to USA in Natal.
