World Cup 2014: Black Stars Arrive In Brasilia But Vow Not to Train Until They Are Paid

The senior national team, the Black Stars, have arrived in Brasilia ahead of their crucial group G game against Portugal on Thursday.

But despite a presidential promise ahead of their departure from Maceio, a grapevine source close to the team has revealed that the players have resolved not to train until their appearance fees have been paid.

On paper, Ghana has two training sessions, one at a training ground allocated the team in Brasilia, and the other at the match venue Estadio Nacional before taking on Paulo Bento’s side on Thursday.

But Ghanasportsonline source close to the team has revealed that unless there is another intervention the players have resolved not to attend training.
