The much talked about City People awards held on Sunday, 22nd June 2014, at 10 Degrees Events Centre in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos.
The show was anchored by Soundcity’s VJ Adams, and Yvonne Ekwere and was tagged as the biggest entertainment event of 2014 which had not just the up-and-coming, but also rave-making and veteran Nigerian and Ghanaian artistes who were celebrated for their excellence and contributions to the development of entertainmentEnglish, Yoruba & Hause in Africa’s showbiz capital, Nigeria.
The event kicked off with a beautiful rendition of Nigeria’s National Anthem which was taken by popular singer, Queen Ure and swiftly followed by the Publisher, City People Magazine, Dr. Seye Kehinde’s welcome remarks.
