Ghanaian Supporters In Brazil Watch Black Stars On Television As Ministry Fail To Deliver Promise

To be forewarned, they say is to be forearmed, but that wasn’t the case of pathetic Ghanaian supporters who were warned ahead of traveling to brazil that circumstances could force them to watch the Black Stars on television despite having to travel several hours across the Atlantic ocean to the Latin American country.

Despite the persistent warning by the Ghanaian media ahead of the tournament that made the media look like prophets of doom, the agency put in charge of carrying the supporters to Fortaleza, Traveling Matters, (Travel and Tour Agency) simply failed to deliver.

The Black Stars, thus barley had any support against Germany but for some individual Ghanaians and staff of GNPC. Ghana sports source at the Estádio de Futebol Castelão in Fortaleza reveals that less than thirty supporters made it by road to support the team as against the 500 supporters believed to have been flown in to support the Black Stars.

“We had a foolproof arrangement of carrying the supporters by bus to Fortaleza but the travel and tour agency promised as a flight arrangement but failed to deliver.” A source close to the minister of youth and sports, hon. Elvis ankrah said.

A section of the Ghanaian supporters in Natal were beside themselves with rage after they had to return home to watch the Black stars play Germany on television after being driven to the airport with the hope of flying to support the Black Stars against Germany in Fortaleza.
